Jillian and Ryan recently welcomed their baby girl Emerson to the world. I think they're pretty happy.

As I go through and edit a session I mark down my favorite pictures to blog about. When I got finished today I realized I had 22 favorites - oops! Somehow I managed to narrow it down ...
I really, really love the ones of Jillian being a mom. I have never seen her happier. She really has just taken to it so easily. It's neat to see the progression and transition of someone's life from bride to mom.
Okay, Ryan is a cool dad too. He even was color coordinated by wearing pink to match his baby girl.
Emerson was stripped down, fed, burped, re-positioned, changed into another outfit, etc. - repeat - quite a few times and she took in stride. Those "in between" moments are when I get the stuff I love. Just parents being parents.
Okay, Emerson did take it all in stride, but she also took the opportunity while she was naked to test her going-to-the-bathroom skills quite a few times. Only a couple of pieces of furniture and a rug were harmed in this shoot.
I don't think she liked my pose idea.
